When I see the word "Creativity" I think...

Project in Class...

Well, this project or activity was made in class some weeks ago. The teacher asked us to get a paper and put it on our backs... and then get a pen and start to write good things in our partners' back... to write pretty things and write why we thought that person was creative... It was cool! We had fun and everybody looked like the picture! And then it was nice when the teacher asked us to stop and see what our partners have put in our paper, because we saw all the nice things they put and we discovered everybody had something creative in him/herself!

Impressionist Sculpture...

I chose "The Walking Man" which was a famous sculpture by French impressionist sculptor Auguste Rodin. Sculpturally, Rodin possessed a unique ability to model a complex, turbulent, deeply pocketed surface in clay. Many of his most notable sculptures were roundly criticized during his lifetime. They clashed with the predominant figure sculpture tradition, in which works were decorative, formulaic, or highly thematic. Rodin's most original work departed from traditional themes of mythology and allegory, modeled the human body with realism, and celebrated individual character and physicality. Rodin was sensitive of the controversy surrounding his work, but refused to change his style.

Sculptural fragments to Rodin were autonomous works, and he considered them the essence of his artistic statement. His fragments (perhaps lacking arms, legs, or a head) took sculpture further from its traditional role of portraying likenesses, and into a realm where forms existed for their own sake. Notable examples are sculptures like this... The Walking Man...

I think it is creative because, personally, I liked very very much the sculpture... I think it is very realistic and it's a good idea to create the human body with a lack of something, because in my opinion that's the real human, you'll always be needing something...

Ideas -> Art

Well, I think all the artist can transform their ideas into art by their originality. Because everybody has ideas and imagination, but only the original and different ideas stand out!

I believe they had a lot of experiences (nice and bad experiences) that unleashed all this imagination and creativity and originality called Art...

Maná :D

Maná is my favorite pop/rock band in Spanish. Maná is from Guadalajara, Mexico and their career has spanned more than 2 decades. Their sound has been described as drawing on pop rock, latin pop, calypso, reggae and ska. They initially received international commercial success in Australia and Spain and have since gained popularity and exposure in the US, Western Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. They have sold more than 22 million albums.

The group was formed by the vocalist Fernando in 1978. In 1981 they released their first album called Sombrero Verde. Their second album was released in 1983. They didn’t get so much success and unhappy with their label they decided to switch to Warner Music. The group's first album under Warner was Falta Amor, which was released in 1990, but did not become a hit until the following year. The third track from that album "Rayando el Sol" became their first hit single. Since then, they have released 7 albums with Warner Music with great success all of them and they are going to release the 8^th on December 7^th, 2010.

Some of their most successful singles are: "Rayando el Sol", "Oye Mi Amor", "Labios Compartidos", "De Pies a Cabeza",  "Vivir Sin Aire", "El Muelle de San Blas", "Mariposa Traicionera", "Angel de Amor", "Me Vale", among others.

Well, I think Maná expresses so much creativity in their works and I think they are a very nice example of our good music! For me, is one of the biggest and greatest bands of Mexico and I'm proud they are very successful because when they go to another countries, I can say they represent our music, our ideas, what we have. Their music is a creative way of represent Mexico!

México en la Piel!

Well, I'm not proud of being Mexican. I like Mexico, I like my country, maybe Mexico is the only place I will always feel as home, but I'm not proud of it. I'm not saying I hate Mexico, I think all the countries have good and bad things, but sometimes I think Mexico is not as good as I would like it to be. Mexico could be a better country, but since years the government, the people, the situations have let Mexico come down.
It has amaizing things, Mexico is full of wonderful places, nice customs, nice people, it has a great history and a great past, I love the food, the weather... but it also has a lot of defects. As I said before, all countries have.
I just can say that I like my country, I'm not proud of it, I just think is nice...

Why do I think Mexicans are creative? I think it's because their history, our history, and also our customs and traditions. I think we are very influnced by our past cultures. So I think is for that reason... Our creativity as country has been developed since our cultures.

Les Grandes Baigneuses - Renoir

I chose Les Grandes Baigneuses by Renoir. He was a French artist who was a leading painter in the development of the Impressionist Style.
Renoir's paintings are notable for their vibrant light and saturated color, most often focusing on people in intimate and candid compositions. The female nude was one of his primary subjects.
The works of his early maturity were typically Impressionist snapshots of real life, full of sparkling colour and light. By the mid 1880s, however, he had broken with the movement to apply a more disciplined, formal technique to portraits and figure paintings, particularly of women, such as Les Grandes Baigneuses. He concentrated especially on monumental nudes and domestic scenes.
Les Grandes Baigneuses is the most typical and successful of Renoir's late, abundantly fleshed nudes.
Renoir is known as a celebrator of beauty, and especially feminine sensuality.

Well, I chose this painting because I'm very impressed about the painting because I think in those times people were very frightened about things like those, and this painting became very successful! I thing Renoir's style is unique and I like some of the themes he used to use. I like he was related with sensuality and beauty, I think he was very creative and in this painting I think there is so much impressionism, because a nude woman is the nearest idea to represent the realism and the life how it is, the nearest idea to Impressionism.

Impressionism vs Creativity!

Impressionism is a movement in French painting, sometimes called optical realism because of its almost scientific interest in the actual visual experience and effect of light and movement on appearance of objects.

H) Decision Making Tree

The Decision Making Tree works giving consequences and different posibilities to variables. It helps you to make a decision and it helps you to see the posible consequences, advantages and disadvantages, the differences with the other ones and the different paths you can take to get the best results.

G) Benjamin Franking's Method

Benjamin's method was about taking in consideration variables that are important for you and rate them according your interests or your current situation. It was for make a decision about two or more things, and make the decision the best posible, taking in consideration your interests, and some of them considerating your current position (for example, Money).

Advantages:
-You can make a better decision.
-It considers your interests and likes.
-It takes into account your situation and posibilities.

Disadvantages:
-Sometimes it's difficult to rate variables.
-If the result is almost the same for both, again it will be difficult to make a decision.
-If you do something wrong in the process, your decision will be very affected.

F) Different Style of Thinking

I think the word is the meaning. It's to have the different way of thinking than everyone else. To be different, to think better or just different things. I think everyone has their own different style of Thinking, not everyone thinks the same, everyone has their own style.

E) Creativity

Creativity is the quality, the ability to be imaginative, to make the things in a different way, to create new and original things. The ability to develop new and original ideas. I think always trying to be ORIGINAL.

D) Creative Thinking

Creative Thinking is the thinking of being new and original, to find the best ways to solve a problem, to being creative on everything, and to discover new ideas.
The thinking of solve a problem differently.

C) Problem Three

Respect.
Respect ohter people. Respect the places I'll visit. Respect and follow the rules of the country I visit.
Tolerance.
Be tolerant if something gets bad or if something does not go like I planned.
Optimism.
Be optimist always. Don't get down if something gets bad. Be happy. Enjoy every moment, because not everyday you have the opportunity to visit Europe.

B) Problem Two

Well, If I had to go to Eurepe I would visit so many countries and places and everything, but before all that I must consider some variables that maybe would change my way and will make me take desicions, I hope the best desicions :)
I would take in consideration variables such as MONEY! I think this variable is the one that would make me change everything. It depends on how much money I have, and how much money the places I'll go will cost.
Another variable may be TURISM. I think it's important for me, because if I went to Europe, I would like to visit the most famous places.
Another variable would be DISTANCE. Because it depends on where I will arrive. If I arrive in France, then I will visit the nearest places of France. I think if I visit the nearest places I will have the chance to visit more places than if I visit a place that is very far from France.
Another variable that I think I really must take in consideration would be TIME. How much time do I have? If I have 3 or 4 weeks then it's for sure I can visit so many places, but if I go for a week so I must take in consideration past variables (Money, Turism and Distance) to get a desicion and choose the best palces.
I think the last variable I would take in consideration would be MY LIKES! Because maybe a place can be very touristic but I'm not interested on it. or maybe a place is not well visited but I really want to visit that specific place. Maybe one day of my stay I just want to walk around the city and get to a Starbucks or something like that.
Fine! I think those are some of the variables that I would take in consideration if I go to Europe.

A) Problem One

Well first of all I'll consider my possibles variables, that in this problem the most important is MONEY. Other variables are that my friends are sick and that University has already started. Taking in consideration University I would say that it's better to study a carrer in Denmark. There are more oportunities and much more chances. If I return to Aguascalientes maybe I would lose most of the course, I would lose money in returning and, in my opinion, if we are talking about "study" I would stay in Denmark and enter to a Danish University and start working because I don't have money. In the worst case would be that I dont' study so dedicate all my time in get a job and work to earn the enough money to get back and then enter the next year to continue my University in Ags.
About my friends, I think there's no problem about it. In my opinion, I do not depend on them. It would not affect me if they are ill or if they are not.
About money! that's the big deal... If I get back to Ags I would lose a lot of money, I'm broke and I don't think I could get back. Maybe if I stay in Denmark for a while, I will work, I will earn money there and about my studies I could take a course there or wait until I get back to Ags.
So my desicion would be stay in Denmark defenitely. I don't have money to get back, In Denmark I can get a job and get some money.
